What we do

We run, we walk, we talk.

It's that simple.  We meet every Saturday morning as a group, we run and walk around Chertsey Meads, whatever the weather - and then we come together to talk.


Interval running - or any exercise for that matter may feel like the last thing you want to do.  But I speak from experience that it will help -  it really will, so give it a go.   You don't need to be an athlete or even a runner; just a will to get better.  We'll can help with the rest.

Interval running

We warm up. 

We run for 90 seconds, recover for 60 seconds.

We repeat. 

We talk. 

We don't talk. 

We recover.

Together.

We wear white

If you come and join us, we ask that you wear a white top; whether that's a t-shirt, a hoodie - whatever you want. 


You can make your own mind up why we choose white 

Talk

Once we're done with the interval running, we go to a nearby pub (The Bridge) where we have a reserved area and we talk for an hour. If people want to stay on, they can but we come together to share our thoughts and experiences around suicide and we heal together.  No pressure, no obligation, just a group that have something in common.

We will raise

Ultimately our goal is raise funds for these amazing groups to help fund more and more help.


But we're taking it one step at a time, literally.  So far we've already had a fantastic response from a variety of people, including counsellors, a local MP, charity groups and even some personal contacts at some big shoes and apparel brands have offered a helping hand (or shoes!) - it really feels like we can make a difference.

All you need is a pair of trainers and the will.
